Julie was able to enjoy food today for the first time in a week - she ate pureed chicken noodle soup and said it was the best soup she's ever had! She also had her IV removed so is enjoying a bit more freedom.
After a bit of a painful day with the trach removal, Julie is looking forward to a restful and healing sleep.

I bet it feels SO good to get some food in you that's not from a tube :) Get lots of rest so I can have an extra long visit with you when I'm back this weekend!
